Welcome to Our New Site

Welcome to our new and improved website. 3PSC, or Pennsylvania Physicians for the Protection of Specialty Care, is a non-profit association uniting high risk specialty surgeons and their patients to achieve one voice with collective goals. We have grown since our inception in 2004 and now represent over 3000 physicians and patients across the state. If you click around our website, you'll see we now have more ways than ever to help make a difference with Pennsylvania health care.

Click on the Take Action tab to see the many ways you can become involved. You can send a letter to your newspaper or legislator and voice your concerns about the state of medical liability or you can spread the word to your friends, family, and colleagues with an email alert. Sign up for on-hold messaging and play an informative message promoting your practice and reform while patients wait to speak to your office staff. You can also download the 3PSC Concerned Citizen Sign-Up Sheet and post it in your waiting room. These are great ways to inform and involve the people who matter most.

I would also like to draw your attention to the importance of our blog. The 3PSC blog allows for an exchange on issues pertinent to the medical community in Pennsylvania and we will be inviting you to take part in an ongoing online conversation relevant to the realities that affect your lives as physicians in a specialty practice.

3PSC, at its core, is still a grassroots organization. We rely on individuals to make a difference, and we've seen that they can. So please, get involved. Call your legislator, alert a friend, and spread the word. Feel free to add to this blog and call our executive director, Kathy DeWittie, to find out more. I hope you enjoy our new website.
